Marty J. Deeter, 58, Columbia City, passed away at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City.
He was born May 9, 1959, to John and Becky Alsworth Deeter.
A Columbia City resident for three years, he formerly resided in Pierceton. He was formerly employed as a hoistman for Trail-Lite, Warsaw.
Survivors include his mother, Becky Deeter, and sisters Deb (spouse Jim) Reed and Laurie (spouse Kevin) Kerr, all of Pierceton; a brother, Rick (spouse Callie) Deeter, Beaver Dam; a daughter, Autumn (spouse Justin) Fear, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his father, John Deeter; and his grandparents.
Calling is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at The Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with a memorial service immediately following at 3 p.m. at the church and conducted by Pastor J.P. Freeman.
Interment will be private in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
