James and Barbara Teel, Winona Lake, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Elizabeth Martin, Winona Lake, to Christopher Michael Plack, Warsaw. He is the son of Cece and Lynn Hammonds, Anchorage, Alaska.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She also graduated from Grace College in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in communication. She is employed as an editorial assistant at the Pilot News, Plymouth.
The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Service High School, Anchorage. He also graduated in 2001 with bachelor's degrees in English and history and a master's degree in education in 2003 from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
The couple plan a May 23 wedding in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
