Martha Plank Kuhns
NAPPANEE – Martha Plank Kuhns, 71, of 3425 N. Beech Road, Bremen, died at 8:55 p.m. April 9, 2011, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Arthur, Ill., to Jacob M. and Lizzie Yoder Plank. On Feb. 21, 1961, in Arthur, she married Roman L. Kuhns, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons; five daughters, including Lorene (and spouse Darrell) Borkholder and Carol (and spouse Paul) Graber, all of Nappanee, and Esther (and spouse Devon) Schwartz, Etna Green; 41 grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ronnie Miller residence, 1184 3rd Road, Bremen, with Bishop Eddie Ray Borkholder and Home Ministry of Old Order Amish Church officiating.
Calling is after 2 p.m. today and all day Tuesday at the family residence.
Arrangements are pending at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
