Martha “Marty” Cox, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Sept. 29, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. She was born March 5, 1929, in Warsaw, to Albert and Edna Phillips Hodges. On Jan. 6, 1951, in Warsaw, she married Royce Cox, who survives in Warsaw. They were married 62 years. She retired from A.M. Hodges Ready Mix, and also was co-owner of Village Peddler Clothing and Fun Center Yamaha, both of Warsaw. She was member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and also attended Celebrations United Methodist Church, Winona Lake. Also surviving are a son, Kim (and spouse Cindi) Cox, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Cari Cox, North Webster, and KC Cox, Warsaw; and three great-grandchildren: Sean, Shane and Sam. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
