WABASH - Martha "Martie" J. Schiffauer, 71, of Wabash, died at 7 a.m. May 8, 2010, in the home of her niece, Beverly, where she was living for the last three years.
She was born July 11, 1938, in Peru, to Basil and Alice Wilkinson Roberts. She married Robert Schiffauer, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sisters, including Julia Boxell, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
She was cremated and there will be no viewing. A mass in her memory will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, Peru, at a later date.
