Martha Frieda Füssle, 96, of 2306 Eastwood Road, Winona Lake, passed away at 8 a.m. Nov. 30, 2010, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Stuttgart, Germany, to eFritz and Margarethe Lehmann Lieb. On March 14, 1935, in Stuttgart, she married Alfred Eugen Füssle, who died in 1965.
She was a homemaker and a pastor's wife, ministering with her husband in Southern Germany and Switzerland. She lived in Switzerland until coming to Warsaw in 1979. Throughout her life she was always reaching out to others, she had a decisive influence on the spiritual and physical well being of her family and extended family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her six children: Helmut (and spouse Gerda) Füssle, Germany; Hildegard Fehlmann Füssle, Warsaw; Günter (and spouse Margaret) Füssle, Switzerland; Heinz (and spouse Nancy) Füssle, Winona Lake; Reinhold (and spouse Claudia) Füssle, Warsaw; Gerhard (and spouse Inger) Füssle, Winona Lake; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lotte Gschwend, Germany.
A private graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Grace Village Chapel at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, by Pastor Denny Wilson.
No calling is planned.
