Marketa “Martee” Lollar, 51, went to sleep and woke up next to her Lord and Savior Oct. 18, 2012, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Mass. She was born May 28, 1961, to Richard and Donna Mitchell. On April 6,1985, in Tampa, Fla., she married Marion “Truman” Lollar, her “PC” or prince charming as she called him. He survives. She was a resident of Kosciusko County, graduating from Warsaw Community High School in 1979, then went on to attend DePauw University. On graduation day, she walked across the stage as a proud Alpha Gamma Delta, holding a bachelor’s degree in English composition. She was a vocalist with the “78 Sounds of Hope” tour and performed in eight European countries as a member of the choir. The love she and Marion shared for each other was one of a kind and undeniable by anyone who saw them together. She faithfully attended Warsaw Community Church where she enjoyed worshipping her best friend, Jesus Christ, along with pursuing mission trips, assisting with children’s ministries and leading Bible studies. While homeschooling her daughters, Kyra and Nakita, she edited and published many pieces of work for a variety of organizations. Before moving to Warsaw, she was assistant director of Good News Express, Rochester, a performing group whose goal was to spread the gospel through song and dance. She always stayed very involved in her daughters’ lives. As they entered high school, she followed closely behind, landing a job at Warsaw Community High School as a job coach for the special needs students, which brought her great joy. After school, she would assist in coaching the WCHS dance team, where her daughters were both members. She enjoyed many motorcycle trips with her husband, time camping with family and friends and always looked forward to Christian women’s retreats. Above all else, she was a true servant of Christ: always looking for ways to help others in a way that would glorify God. Also surviving are three daughters, Tiffany, Kyra and Nakita; her parents; a sister, Kathi (and spouse Robb) Blume; and a brother, Rick (and spouse Wendy) Mitchell. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Warsaw Community Church, 2300 Ranch Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson. Burial will be at a later date. A time of gathering will be with friends and family after the service at the church. McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, is in charge of local arrangements. ***** Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, 102 E.
