Mark Wayne Douglas, 62, Silver Lake, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Oct. 28, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Buckhannon, W. Va., to Robert Dale and Alma Ruby Manley Douglas. On Dec. 23, 1968, in Marion, Ohio, he married Janet Agnes Hiler, who survives. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. He was an owner-operator truck driver for 39 years. He loved to play cards, go fishing and work on cars. Also surviving are a son, David Douglas, Silver Lake; a daughter, Jodi Pruitt, Silver Lake; four grandchildren: Jacinda Wuthrich, Burket; Tim Jayne, Paige and Courtney Pruitt, all of Silver Lake; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Ayden; and a sister, Jerri (and spouse Glen) Miley, Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Douglas and Robert Douglas Jr. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, officiating.
