ELKHART – Mark “Todd” Grubb, 61, North Webster, formerly of Elkhart, passed away the morning of May 30, 2014, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1952, in Elkhart, to Robert T. and Marilyn D. Darr Grubb. After graduating from Elkhart High School, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he began working at Knappen Marine, Elkhart, as a mechanic, doing boat repair and refinishing. He loved the water, classic boats and fishing. Surviving are a sister, Tracy (and spouse Dr. Matthew) Brennan, Mishawaka; a brother, M. Thomas (and spouse Beth) Grubb, Elkhart; two nieces, Jennifer Grubb and Grace Brennan; and two nephews, Jon (and spouse Sarah) and Nicholas Grubb. He was preceded in death by a brother, M. Taylor Grubb. Cremation has taken place with placement in the Veterans Tower in Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date. Please join with his family and friends as they celebrate his life from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at High Dive Park Pavilion, 500 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. The United States Army Funeral Honor Guard will render military honors at 3 p.m. His family would like to thank the Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice for their care and kindness to him.
