BOURBON - Mark Edward Scott, 46, of 3069 Blackford Drive, Tippecanoe, died unexpectedly at 6:25 p.m. Aug. 19, 2007, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

He was born Aug. 26, 1960, in Plymouth, to Edward Dale Jr. and Marilyn Paul Scott.

A lifetime Tippecanoe resident, he was a machinist at Biomet Inc., Warsaw, and a 1978 Triton High School graduate. He enjoyed hunting and was a part of Scott Brother's antique engines and tractors. He was also crew chief and car owner of his daughter's sportsman car, which she raced at Plymouth Speedway.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Sherri Foust) Tackett and Stephanie Scott, all of Tippecanoe; three grandchildren; Josh Foust and Jessica and Jeremy Babendrager; his mother, Marilyn Scott, Tippecanoe; and three brothers, David and Doug Scott, both of Tippecanoe, and Steve (and wife Kim) Scott, Argos. He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Tippecanoe Community Church, 2940 18b Road. Burial will be in Summit Chapel Cemetery, Bourbon.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
