Mark A. Archer, 52, Leesburg, passed away unexpectedly at 11:15 p.m. Dec. 13, 2013, in Parkview Regional Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1961, in Goshen, to Norman and Jo Ann Heaton Archer. He was a lifetime resident of Leesburg, and a 1980 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He was a truck driver for more than 30 years as owner/operator of Archer Trucking. He was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church; he belonged to Kosciusko Masonic Lodge #419 F & AM and was a Plain Township volunteer firefighter. Surviving are a sister, Christina L. Archer, Leesburg; a brother, Jeff (and spouse Erin) Archer, Fort Wayne; two nieces; three nephews; and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Archer. Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, with services at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Seewald, Leesburg United Methodist Church, officiating.
