ROCHESTER - Marjorie R. Crabill Zeller, 89, of 1304 Wabash Ave., Rochester, died Aug. 25, 2009, in Life Center Center of Rochester.
She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Fulton County, to Virgil LeRoy and Edith Mae Wood Garner. On April 17, 1938, in Donaldson, she married Calvin D. Crabill, who died April 16, 1974. On Aug. 31, 1983, in Nashville, Tenn., she married Lester W. Zeller, who died March 11, 2007.
She was a homemaker and assisted many people with housekeeping. She also worked at the County Home and the Geneva Center, both in Rochester. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and assisted with many other projects.
Surviving are five daughters: Carole (and spouse Ray) Hupf, Henderson, Nev.; Sharon (and spouse Doug) Harried, Trenton, Ill.; Judy (and spouse Jerry) Lewis, Rochester; Nancy (and spouse Ed) Bowman, Fort Wayne; and Joyce (and spouse Chuck) Skinner, Lynn Haven, Fla.; a sister, Doris Craigo, Middlebury; a brother, Charles (and spouse Priscilla) Garner, Syracuse; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Will Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery, Rochester.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
