Marjorie Pauline Mitterling, 94, of Warsaw, died at 7:30 a.m. July 7, 2013, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 28, 1918, in Elkhart, to William and Nellie Garber Petro. On Oct. 8, 1938, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Francis Mitterling, who died.
She was a Warsaw High School graduate and a graduate of the then Secretarial College of South Bend. She enjoyed playing golf and attending Home Economics Club with her many friends. She was a homemaker and a member of the Warsaw First Brethren Church for many years and she loved and served the Lord. She received great enjoyment spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Surviving are a daughter, Aleta (and spouse Dale) Cross, Klamath Falls, Ore.; a son, Alan (and spouse Nancy) Mitterling, Warsaw; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Like, Sebring, Fla,; three nieces and four nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by  a brother, William Petro Jr., and a sister, Marie Fisher.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Howard Immel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
