NORTH MANCHESTER - Marjorie M. Deardorff, 94, of North Manchester, and formerly of New Castle, died at 1:05 a.m. Nov. 27, 2010, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born June 17, 1916, in New Castle, to E.C. and Mabel Stauble Teeter. On Dec. 14, 1936, she married the Rev. Lewis Deardorff, who died June 10, 1988.
She was a homemaker and a pastor's wife. She was a member of Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake.
Surviving are two sons, Donald (and spouse Pat) Deardorff, Camby, Calif., and Dana (and spouse Barbara) Deardorff, Tigard, Ore.; two daughters, Deanna (and spouse Andy) Offringa, Jenison, Mich., and Deloris Deardorff, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in a death by a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester, with Chaplain Andrew Sampson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at Timbercrest Chapel.
