ARGOS - Marjorie Lucille Holm, of 606 N. Washington St., Bourbon, died at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, following a one-month illness.
She was born in Marshall County to Ross and Vivian Rohrbaugh Snyder.
Living all of her life in the Marshall and Fulton counties area, she was secretary and receptionist for Dr. Hakon Holm, veterinarian office in Bourbon. She owned "Marjorie's" beauty shop in Bourbon, and was the Bourbon town clerk for 16 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, IMBZ Club and Order of the Eastern Star, all of Bourbon, and Rebecca Lodge, Fulton County. She was a 1930 Argos High School graduate, where she received honors in spelling and earned a 100 percent pin in typing.
Surviving are a son, Kenton Boyd Holm, Arizona; a daughter, Karen Holm, Bourbon; and a brother, A.C. Snyder, Florida. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bourbon First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
Calling is from 3 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, and from noon until the time of service Friday at the church.
