NAPPANEE – Marjorie J. Mishler, 83, of Nappanee, died at 6:40 a.m. June 29, 2013, in her daughter’s residence. She was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Nappanee, to Charles and Leota Weaver Mishler. On May 13, 1951, she married Phil G. Mishler, who preceded her in death March 5, 2007. She lived her lifetime in the area. She attended Brown Elementary School, was a graduate of New Paris High School and attended Goshen College. She was a homemaker, mom, and a bookstore proprietor in Nappanee. She was a member of Union Center Church of the Brethren and a former member of Nappanee Noon Kiwanis. She was a volunteer for many years at Goshen Hospital and had been a 10-year 4-H member. Surviving are a daughter, Cathy (and spouse Chris) Gillam, Nappanee; two sons, Rick (and spouse Debra) Mishler, Phoenix, Ariz., and John (and spouse Jack Perhan) Mishler, Niles, Mich.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty (and spouse Allen Norris) Plunkett, Elkhart. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Union Center Church of the Brethren. ***** Memorials may be made to Nappanee Public Library.
