SYRACUSE - Marjorie J. "Mag" Wiles, 88, of Syracuse, died at 4:25 a.m. July 27, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born March 22, 1921, in Syracuse, to Merl and Wava Gordon Laughlin. On May 2, 1939, in Syracuse, she married Robert W. "Bob" Wiles, who died Jan. 22, 2006.
She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1939, and was a lifetime Syracuse area resident. She retired from Dana Corp., Syracuse, in 1983, after 30 years of service.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith Keck, Syracuse; a son, Gary (and spouse Pat) Wiles, Syracuse; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Merl Laughlin, Syracuse. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Syracuse Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Wyman officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse.
