Marjorie E. Morgan, 97, Warsaw, passed away at 11:11 p.m. Dec. 11, 2016, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born April 8, 1919, in Eaton, Ohio, to Lester and Elsie Clark Martz. On May 14, 1943, in Eaton, she married Edward R. Morgan. They were married 44 years until his passing on July 10, 1987. She was a graduate of Jackson High School near Eaton. She lived in Argos before moving to Warsaw in 1964. She spent time at the Pentagon in the War Department from 1941 to 1943, even having the opportunity to meet Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a member of First Christian Church for many years and enjoyed cooking and baking. She had always helped run the family farm. She was an avid euchre player and enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring and reading. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed staying active, even caring for her own home and driving until very recently. Above all, she was a mother and grandmother who loved time spent with her family. Survivors include two sons, Jeff (spouse Margaretha) Morgan, Warsaw, and Dennis (spouse Barb) Morgan, Huntington; a daughter, Jane (Jon Borton) Eash, Argos; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Albert (spouse Barbara) Bishop, Peru. She was preceded by her husband, Edward R. Morgan; her parents, Albert and Elsie Bishop; her father, Lester Martz, who died when she was very young; a sister, Pauline Jeanes; and a loyal friend, Buster the dog. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until the 1 p.m. service at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw. Pastor Gary Boschain, First Christian Church, Warsaw, will officiate.
