NORTH WEBSTER – Marion R. Rauschenbach, 92, of Jeffersonville, and formerly of Leesburg, went to her heavenly home March 12, 2012.

She was born May 5, 1919, in Laporte, to Oscar and Augusta Knoll. On July 2, 1938, in Laporte, she married Frank J. Rauschenbach, who died in 1985.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her favorite times were having her family in her home. She was an excellent cook and a loving, gracious woman. She spent her career life as an accountant. She was a 53-year member of Order of the Eastern Star and active in many organizations. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Her final quote: “Listen, before you go, we love you, we just wanted you to know.”   

Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne (and spouse Neal) Koppert, Union, Mich.; a son, Frank (and spouse Barb) Rauschenbach, Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Roberta Marsh; and two brothers Robert and James Knoll.  She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra (and spouse Steve) Mafera, and three brothers, Don, Dick and Harold Knoll.

Services will be private at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.

No calling is planned.
