Marilyn E. Penn, 65, Mentone, died at 3:45 a.m. March 25, 2016, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1950, in Atwood, to William and Helen Hoffer Frush. On July 5, 2014, in Mentone, she married Daniel Penn, who survives in Mentone. She worked as a case worker in Nevada, at Zolman Farms, Warsaw, and at Biomet, Warsaw. She was a graduate of Mentone High School and Porter Business College. She enjoyed gardening and literature. She always tried to instill Christian family values. Also surviving are one daughter, Heather Banghart, Mentone; two sons, Jonathan Brown and Jeremy Hassel, both of Warsaw; six grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Frush, Warsaw, and Dick Frush, Pennsylvania; and one sister, Jeanne Weirick, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Frush. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Pastor Bob Jarbo officiating.
