BOURBON - Marilyn A. Stewart, 89, formerly of Bourbon, died Nov. 11, 2010, in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, where she resided.
She was born March 10, 1921, in Bourbon, to Roy and Lorna Dillingham Carswell. On Jan. 31, 1948, she married Robert Stewart, who died April 16, 2003.
She lived in Bourbon most of her life. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1939. She was a member of the Bourbon American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are three children, Don and Kevin Stewart, both of Bourbon, and Dale (and spouse Sharon) Stewart, Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Loren (and spouse Susanna) Carswell, Culver. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bourbon American Legion Post 424.
