NORTH MANCHESTER – Mariette E. Barker, 78, North Manchester, formerly of Wabash, died at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 12, 2017, at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was born Dec. 28, 1938, to Herman and Eugine VanBerkholm Dirker in The Netherlands. On Dec. 31, 1977, she married Paul Barker, who died May 27, 1993. A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 3741 W 100 S, Wabash. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
