NAPPANEE - Marietta Bender, 50, of 5117 Beech Road, Bremen, died at 11:48 a.m. July 15, 2009, in her residence, after a three-year battle with cancer.
She was born June 2, 1959, to Floyd S. and Anna Mae Borkholder Bender.
Surviving are five sisters, including Sharon (and spouse Steve) Yoder, Barbara (and spouse Devon) Miller, and Susan (and spouse Atlee) Yuzy, all of Nappanee; and three brothers, including Mark (and spouse Nancy) Bender and Merle (and spouse Vonda) Bender, all of Nappanee. She was preceded in death by grandparents.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Larry Helmuth residence, 5807 Beech Road, with Bishop John Plank officiating, assisted by Home Ministries. Burial will be in Cedar Road Amish Cemetery.
Calling is after 4 p.m. today and all day Friday at the family residence.
