Maria Irma Garza Gomez Villarreal, 72, passed away at 8:10 p.m. March 27, 2016, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. She was born March 16, 1944, in Weslaco, Texas, to Felipe and Maria Medelez Garza. In Weslaco, she married Alonzo Villarreal, who survives in Texas. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. Also surviving are a daughter, Sonia M. Gomez, Warsaw; a son, Alonzo (and spouse Amber) Esteban Villarreal, Fort Wayne; a stepson, Armando Villarreal; four sisters: Margarita G Ballin, Warsaw; Maria Antonia Garza Hernandez, Austin, Texas; and Maria Dolores Garza Rivera and Diana Garza Alvarez, both of Kyle, Texas; and two brothers, Pedro Garza, Warsaw, and Felipe Garza Jr., Kyle. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Viola Garza Cruz and Gumesinda Garza Salinas. Graveside services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Father Constantino Rocha, Our Lady of Guadalupe, presiding.
