Marguerite J. "Peg" Carlson, 83, of 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, died at 12:46 p.m. Aug. 22, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Chardon, Ohio, to Luthern and Luella Winchell Pelton. On Dec. 24, 1943, she married Lenard Carlson, who died in 1978.
Living in Warsaw for 48 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Grace Village Chapel.
Surviving are four daughters: Lucille (and spouse David) Teel, Beaver Dam Lake; Lori (and spouse Larry) Barton, Warsaw; Linda (and spouse Bernard) Holloway, Mentone; and Lillian (and spouse Eugene) Grimes, Marion; a son, Larry Carlson, Warsaw; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Carlson; four sisters; five brothers; and her parents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Glenn C. Byers officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
