CHURUBUSCO - Margaret "Grandma" Wilson, 88, of rural Columbia City, died at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 20, 2009, in her son's residence after an extended illness.
She was born Feb 27, 1921, to Clem F. and Margaret Edith Wolford Neher. On Dec. 7, 1940, she married Howard W. Wilson, who died July 2, 1981.
Surviving are eight children, including Carl A. (and spouse Bonnie) Wilson, Larwill, and Kenneth E. (and spouse Lana) Wilson and Keith E. Wilson, all of Pierceton; 34 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and two grandsons.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco, with the Rev. Coronne K. Boruff officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
