FORT WAYNE – Margaret "Peggy" Jagodzinski, 67, passed away Nov. 6, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was a 1967 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and a 1970 graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She cared for the newborn for 35 years. Thirty-two of those years were dedicated to the care of premature and sick newborns at Parkview Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. "She loved her babies." Her love of preemies was a result of working with and learning from the late Dr. Donald Hoffman. Surviving are her mother, Bonnie B. Jagodzinski, Warsaw; two sisters, Kathy Jagodzinski, Fort Wayne, and Susan (spouse Robert) Hatfield, Mentone; a niece, Jennifer Ayers; a nephew, Doug (spouse Stacie) Hatfield; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends Connie McDowell and Marvene Kelty. She was preceded by her father, Stanley Jagodzinski. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at D.O.
