ROCHESTER - Margaret Marie Arnold, 84, of 2906 Country Club Drive, Rochester, died at 12:20 p.m. April 30, 2010, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

She was born in Noblesville, on April 27, 1926, to Guy and Lucille Mallary Roudebush. On Jan. 22, 1946, in Noblesville, she married Calvin Arnold, who survives.

In 1944, she graduated from Noblesville High School. Following her retirement she volunteered for more than 20 years in the Woodlawn Hospital gift shop as a member of the hospital's Women's Axillary. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliaries of the Manitou Moose, Elks Lodges and the American Legion. A supporter of Purdue University, she was on the President's Council and a member of the John Purdue Club. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Noblesville, and attended Grace United Methodist Church, Rochester. She was also a member of the Woodland Country Club, Carmel.

Also surviving are a daughter, Denise (and spouse Brian) Henke, Noblesville; a son, Mel D. (and spouse Colette) Arnold, Noblesville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Francis Jean Sweitzer, Noblesville. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
