Margaret L. Reisert, age 64, of Brownsburg, formerly of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020.
Margaret was born June 12, 1956, in Richmond, to Dr. Richard and Mary Jane Gillard McIlroy.
She lived her earlier years in Illinois, starting school before moving to Warsaw. She graduated in 1974 from Warsaw Community High School. She loved education and learning. She obtained a degree in public health and environmental science and continued her education to get a degree in nursing. Margaret enjoyed many jobs throughout her lifetime, spending the last several years in the nursing profession.
Margaret is survived by sons, Michael “Nic” Reisert, of Seattle, Wash.; Scott Reisert, of Indianapolis; sisters: Pat Smith, of Terre Haute; Kate (Jerry) Sainer, of Houston, Texas; Joan Parker (Dave Sloan), of Warsaw; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents; stepmom, Elaine McIlroy; and one great-niece: Allison Hescher.
Masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own.
A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 5 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. The funeral service will follow immediately at noon with Pastor Rick Sprong officiating the service.
