BOURBON - Margaret Meyer Connell, 96, of 7900 E. 8th Road, rural Plymouth, died May 16, 2009, in her residence.
She was born June 17, 1912, in Fulton, to Charles C. and Phyllis Felder Meyer. On July 15, 1939, she married Dr. Vactor O. Connell, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Bourbon First United Methodist Church, where she was director of music and choir director for 40 years, also founder of the hand bell choir and Carol Choir (Children's Choir).
Surviving are two daughters; five grandchildren, including JC (and spouse Lynn) Utter, Bourbon; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. June 14 at Bourbon First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Day officiating.
Calling is from 2p.m. until the time of service.
