She was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Mishawaka, to Leo A. and Eldora Bryant Chalk. On Oct. 31, 1959, in Syracuse, she married Larry D. Rosenberry, who survives in Syracuse.

She graduated in 1986 from Wawasee High School. She was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She formerly worked at Penguin Point, Warsaw, during the late 1970s and Lakeland Loving Care Nursing Home, Milford, during the 1980s. She attended the Syracuse Church of God.

Also surviving are a daughter, Dorene Montel, Leesburg; two sons, David (and spouse Kara) Rosenberry, Syracuse, and Drew (and spouse Christina) Rosenberry, Syracuse; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Shirley Johnson, Syracuse; and a brother, Harley (and spouse Gail) Chalk, Syracuse.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Vince Wilczinski officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.

Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
