Maple Leaf Farms, Milford, recently was acknowledged for its contributions to the North Central Indiana Food Bank in the fight against hunger.
At the NCIFB's annual awards ceremony in South Bend, Maple Leaf Farms was among several businesses, organizations and individuals recognized for their work. The top fund-raiser award went to Welsh Inc. and local Amoco dealers, who raised more than $9,500 for the food bank.
The organization also recognized Robert W. Annis Jr., Mishawaka, for his efforts in developing the food bank.
