Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Beginning May 31, most U.S. Post Offices in the county will have new hours.
Operations have been analyzed and adjusted to better match the workload and revenue associated with the post offices, while still maintaining retail access levels for customers, according to a USPS press release.
On the national level, Postal Service officials are working with Congress on a new business model to replace a 30-year-old operating structure. The USPS Transformation Plan calls for the organization to take $1 billion in costs out of the system in each of the next five years.
For some post offices, the adjustment of hours is significant; for others, minor.
