Mantis Skate Park Opening Day Is Saturday And It Is Free

Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department announced the opening day of Mantis Skate Park is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20.

It is free.

Don't have a skateboard? No problem. The park has one you can use. Don't have a helmet? No problem. They have extras.

Mantis Skate Park is a fully-supervised, family-friendly skate facility everyone can enjoy, according to a news release from the Parks Department.

All ages are welcome, from elementary students to adults.

The park offers a Rhino Ramp System, thanks to support from the K21 Health Foundation. Skateboards, scooters and inline skates are welcome. Helmets are required at all times.

An annual waiver and emergency contact form must be on file to skate. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign these forms. These forms are available on the park website or at the Mantis Skate Park during operating hours.
