ALBION - The Ligonier woman who allegedly beat her boyfriend to death with a hammer in May reportedly will enter a plea agreement in Noble County Superior Court I.
Christine Anne Ratliff, 30, reportedly beat Robert H. Moser, 29, Cromwell, and formerly of Syracuse, to death with a hammer May 21 in a mobile home they were renovating in Cromwell.
Ratliff originally was charged with one count of murder, but reportedly will plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter as part of the agreement that will be filed by Monday. No other details of the agreement have been released.
Ratliff reportedly walked into the lobby of the Noble County Jail in May and told a jail officer she killed Moser.
Noble County police officers then went to Lot 154 at Shady Acres Mobile Home Court, Cromwell, and found Moser's body face down on a bed in a rear bedroom. Moser had an obvious head injury and the room was spattered with blood.
