So here we go again. Two issues this time. Dog fighting and "no-kill animal shelters."
Now don't get me wrong, I consider dog fighting about as low as you can go even if they use pit bulls, which I consider the worse dog ever developed by man.
What people get out of watching animals tearing each other apart, I just don't understand.
The other (no-kill animal shelters), I also don't understand. Dogs can live upwards of 15 years, and cats 20 years. So we now want unwanted dogs and cats to spend years in cages just big enough to hold them. What kind of life is that and how many million animals is this society prepared to support? From all I've heard, most animal shelters have all they can handle just keeping the most adoptable animals alive.
Those of you who know me know where I'm going with all this. I've heard people say Vick should get 20 years for fighting dogs, and all shelters should be kill free, and at the very same time, this society is still murdering more than a million unborn human babies every year. What I really don't understand is where the American people have their heads.
