Manchester Tops Oak Hill Convincingly, 80-45

NORTH MANCHESTER - Manchester's varsity boys basketball team manhandled Three Rivers Conference foe Oak Hill 80-45 Friday night.

The 35-point win improves the Squires to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the TRC, while Oak Hill falls to 8-3 and 2-1.

The Squires led by eight after the first quarter and by 15 at the break en route to the convincing win.

Barry Hicks paced Manchester with a game-high 30 points, including a 4-of-6 effort from three-point land and a 6-of-7 performance at the charity stripe. Jon Cable scored 13 for Manchester, while Joel Garber added nine.

Travis Owsley, the state's second-leading scorer, led Oak Hill with 24, finishing just 7 of 22 from the field and 6 of 12 from the charity stripe.

Manchester is in action again tonight at home against Wawasee.
