WABASH – The Manchester Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Scott Humphries, returns to the Honeywell Center March 10 at 3 p.m. This performance, sponsored by Midwest Poultry Services, is free and does not require a ticket. Beginning their 74th year of sharing music with surrounding communities, the Manchester Symphony Orchestra will present their program “A Storied Season: the ABC’s of Music,“ featuring numbers like Malcolm Arnold’s “Suite” from “The Inn of the Sixth Happiness,” Leonard Bernstein’s “Three Dance Episodes” from “On the Town,” and Claude Debussy’s “Rhapsody for Clarinet and Orchestra.” A pre-show conversation will take place in the Ford Theater at 2:30 p.m., free and open to everyone. The Manchester Symphony Society, in cooperation with Manchester University, sponsors a community-oriented symphony orchestra to enhance and enrich the musical understanding and appreciation of the audience, members of the orchestra and the community. For those wanting to dine before the show, Eugenia’s Restaurant, located inside the Honeywell Center, will be open for Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
