Manchester Swim Teams Lose In Local Roundup

NORTH MANCHESTER — The Manchester boys and girls swim teams both suffered losses Monday night at home.
Hosting Kokomo, the boys, which has nine on the roster, fell 115-54, while the girls, who feature 14 swimmers, were on the short end of a 131-51 score.
Manchester received one first-place finish in each meet, as Andrea Roesner won the 50 free in 30.31 and the boys got a win from Ross Messer, who won the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.35.
Manchester is back in action tonight, traveling to Warsaw.

In the Baker’s match, the Valley boys lost 1638-1612, while the girls lost 1501-1293. In the dual match, the boys fell 11-9 to Logansport, while the girls lost 20-0.
