NORTH MANCHESTER - There are few details available surrounding North Manchester Town Marshall Dave Young's sick leave.
Young took sick leave more than a week ago. According to North Manchester Town Manager Dan Hannaford, Young is seeking treatment at Bowen Center. Hannaford said he wasn't sure why Young was seeking treatment.
An officer with the Indiana State Police confirmed that an allegation against Young is currently being investigated, though nothing has been confirmed and no charges have been filed against Young.
The Indiana State Police Detective Division, Fort Wayne, is currently in charge of that investigation.
Jeff Perry is currently the interim town marshall while Young is on leave.
