Manchester man allegedly threatens woman for sex

A North Manchester man was arrested Thursday after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun to have sex with him in exchange for rent.

But he said that wasn’t the way the events happened.

Lloyd Gene Ousley, 79, of 12600 S. Ind. 13, lot 47, North Manchester, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 11:01 a.m. Thursday for intimidation, a level 6 felony. His preliminary bond was set at $5,250.

On June 29, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Smith spoke with a woman who said she had been staying at Ousley’s residence. She said on June 29, Ousley told her she needed to have sex with him to pay her rent. She declined, and he threatened to shoot her. He pulled out a black handgun and pointed the gun at her chest. She was able to leave the property safely, according to court documents.

Smith spoke with Ousley who admitted he told the woman that she had been staying there rent-free. She then asked, “What do you want, sex?”

He then retrieved a black Colt CO2 BB handgun that he said was laying on his lap when he was talking to the woman. He said he pulled the handgun out because she told him he could not make her leave the property.
