Manchester Main Street Plans Holiday 'Light Up The Town'

Posted
NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester Main Street encourages local businesses and residents to help “Light Up The Town” this holiday season.
To kick things off, merchants are asked to outline their windows in white lights by Nov. 7, in time for the Holiday Open Houses. In November, according to its press release, Manchester Main Street will add to the festivities and downtown decorations with holiday storefront artwork by Manchester Community Schools’ students.
And, be sure to save the date, they ask, for Manchester Main Street’s Dec.  6  “Light Up The Town” holiday gala, a progressive dinner event featuring exclusive specialty treats from North Manchester’s finest restaurants, bars and entertainers.
Get your reservations in by Nov. 1 and take advantage of the discounted $40 “Early Bird” tickets. Gala  invitations can be picked up at the Manchester Main Street office in the Chamber building, 109 N. Market Street, or downloaded online at www.manchestermainstreet.org
The registration deadline is Nov. 15. $250 to $750 and more event sponsorships, which include gala tickets, can also be purchased. Silent auction donations can be directed to Susan Manwaring at 260-982-6720 or smanwaring@battplus.com
All Gala proceeds will support Manchester Main Street and its 2015 town improvement projects.
