NORTH MANCHESTER - Over the first 45 minutes, Grace College and Manchester College battled through a see-saw half. Both soccer teams played well and shut down the other. Then, there was a three- minute let down by the Lancers that allowed Manchester to score twice and take the lead. From that point on, Grace could not create any offense and Manchester ran away with the 2-0 victory.
Manchester's Corey Ozark scored with 32:22 to play and Ryan Romey added the second goal three minutes later on an assist from Al Calixte.
Grace (3-6) will host Huntington on Saturday at 1 p.m. Manchester (4-3) will be at Milliken on Saturday.

At Winona Lake, Grace College was upset by 5-18 St. Francis on Tuesday in the conference opener for the Lancers.
Kate Millen had 20 kills and Molly Maidment added 10 for Grace. Melissa Rants had 41 assists.
Grace (8-5, 0-1) will be at Mt. Vernon Nazarene College on Friday and Saturday.

Huntington 7, Grace 2
At Huntington, Dave Carey defeated Mike Baber 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Ryan Gould defeated Trent Ropp 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles, but the Lancers lost on Tuesday in a match that will not count in the conference standings.
Grace (3-4, 1-3) will be at Anderson on Thursday. The match against Huntington that will count towards conference records will be on Tuesday at Grace.
