Manchester High School will be offering the following summer camps, and registration forms are available at the junior/senior high school, elementary school, intermediate school and High 5 Sports.
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball camp will be open to students in grades 1-8 and will run from July 22-26, from 8 a.m. to in the high school gymnasium. The camp will be under the direction of head coach Brooke Airgood with assistance from the high school girls basketball staff and the high school players. The cost of the camp per student will be $35, which will include a t-shirt, camp ball, and treats.
Boys Basketball
The boys basketball camp will be open to students in Kindergarten to 8th grade, and runs from June 10-14. Kindergarten to 2nd grade will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m., grades 3-5 from 1:30-3 p.m. and grades 6-8 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The camp will be under the direction of Eric Thompson with assistance from the high school boys basketball staff and the high school players. The camp will cost $10 or $20 dollars for camp and a ball, or $30 dollars for camp, ball, and t-shirt.
Co-Ed Soccer
The boys and girls soccer camp is for students in grades 1-7 and will be held June 3-6 from 4-5:30 p.m. at Good Field. The camp will be under the direction of Manchester boys soccer coach Dave Mc Kee and Manchester girls soccer coach Jacqui Erny, as well as the high school boys and girls soccer players. There will be a cost of $25 per camper, which includes a T-shirt with the remaining funds to be used for the purchase of soccer equipment and team supplies.
Volleyball
The volleyball camp is for students in grades 4-8 and will be held on June 11-13 from 9-11 am in the high school gymnasium. The camp will be under the direction of Sue Gnagy, with assistance from Melissa West and varsity volleyball players. The cost per camper is $30 for camp, T-shirt and challenge prizes.
Co-Ed Tennis
The boys and girls tennis lessons for students in grades K-12 is set for June 4-6, June 10-12 and 17-19 from 9 a.m.-noon at the high school tennis courts. The camp will be under the direction of Joel Eichenauer with the help of Kyle Lahman, Connor Eichenauer, Karly Eichenauer and Steve Erny. Fees are based on the level of the player and duration of the session.
