Manchester held an 11-point lead at halftime before being outscored by the Lady Tigers 21-10 in the third quarter. “We battled through foul trouble and a tough shooting night to come away with the victory,” Lady Squire head coach Jacob Everett said. “The girls played extremely hard and converted in the fourth quarter with a big offensive possession late and a defensive stop to put the game away.” In the junior varsity game, Manchester scored seven points in all four quarters en route to a 28-18 win over Bluffton. Kennidy Lauer had seven points and Kiera Hatfield scored six points in the win. The Lady Squires (3-1) open Three Rivers Conference play Tuesday at Maconaquah.
