Manchester Boys Tennis Team Leads Roundup With Home Win

NORTH MANCHESTER — The Manchester boys tennis team improved its season record to 6-2 following Monday evening’s 3-2 home win over Norwell. Posting the 3-2 victory, Manchester got by thanks senior Connor Eichenauer’s comeback win at No. 1 singles. Dropping the opening set in a tiebreaker (7-3), Eichenauer came back to take the second 6-0 and the third 6-3. Other winners for the Squires were junior Max Karg at No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-0) and its No. 2 doubles tandem of junior Matthew Pegg and senior Brayton Spann (6-1, 6-0). Colin McNeeley scored twice in the victory, with Braydon Sewell and Eliesel Guerrero also netting goals.
