SOUTH WHITLEY – Powered by two second-half goals from Colin McNeeley, Manchester High School’s varsity boys soccer team beat Three Rivers Conference foe Whitko 3-0 Wednesday evening. Elisiel Guerrero scored the game’s first goal midway through the first half on an assist from Braydon Sewell. With Whitko packing it in on defense, putting all of its players in the 18 at times, McNeeley was able to give the Squires some breathing room on the scoreboard. Both of McNeeley’s goals were assisted by Guerrero. Whitko had just one shot in the loss. Wildcat goalkeeper Devin Goggin made 15 saves. The Squires, who have given up just eight goals this season, are now 9-1-1 on the year. Manchester will be in action again Tuesday at Lakeland Christian Academy. Whitko will play at conference foe North Miami Saturday.
