LEESBURG – Friday night, Cameron Snodgress pulled over to fix his car and the next thing he knew he was robbed.
At 7:19 p.m. Friday, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. deputies responded to a call of strong armed robbery in Leesburg. When deputies arrived at 4600 N. CR 250E, they found Snodgress with a large lump on the left side of his head.
Snodgress explained to the officer that he had been in Leesburg putting air in his tire, but he forgot to put the cap on the tire. He stopped to fix the tire, when three men pulled over and asked him if he needed help. Then he was hit in the head and the subjects took $45 from his wallet and his cell phone.
Snodgress told deputies that he believes the men got into a tan Toyota Camry and left.
Verizon attempted to locate the phone at 9:53 p.m., but the phone was powered down.
