A man allegedly angry about getting fired sent threatening texts to his employer and landed himself in jail for intimidation. Jimmie Lee Aldrich, 37, New Haven, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday and faces a Level 6 felony charge of intimidation. According to the probable cause affidavit filed Jan. 28 in Kosciusko Superior Court III, on Jan. 9 Kosciusko County Sheriff deputies received a report from a man who said he had fired Aldrich for poor attendance and that Aldrich had been sending threatening texts to him and to another employee. The messages were shown to police, and according to court papers, Aldrich tells his former employer to “try” him. Aldrich also texted an employee and told that employee to relay threats to the owner that was laced with profanity. Aldrich’s bond was set at $5,750.
