A call for help in downtown Warsaw Thursday night may be the result of suspicious circumstances.
The Warsaw Police Department received a call at 9:24 p.m. Thursday saying that a man was lying in the street asking for help.
When police arrived at 122 E. Center St., they found Bryan Glova, 31, of 221 S. High St., Warsaw, lying on the sidewalk in front of the CenturyLink offices. He had a broken right leg and ankle and was intoxicated.
According to Lt. Skip Shuter, Warsaw Police Department, Glova was transported by EMS to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Once there, it was discovered that Glova also had punctured both lungs and had internal bleeding. He was later air-lifted to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, where his status is unknown at this time.Reports that Glova had jumped from the roof of the CenturyLink building are unsubstantiated at this time, Shuter said.
A wooden ladder was found in the alley behind the building, although it's unclear where it came from or who owns it.
Due to the severity of Glova's injuries and his level of intoxication, he has been unable to speak to authorities regarding what happened.
The Warsaw Police Department was assisted by the Multi-Township EMS service. The incident remains under investigation.
